So one of my most amazing experiences in Dubai was the desert safari. if your planning to embark on a trip to the desert i suggest preparing yourself for once heck of a ride! Having never been to a desert in my life I was unsure of what to expect. I remember arriving to the sand dunes in our pimped out ride as i was holding on to the door handles for dear life, driving in the desert is definitley a bumpy wild and scenic drive. It was so Beautiful. it seems like the sand is alive and moving along with the whims of the sun, If you ever watched Aladdin as a kid it really reminded me of that.
After running around in the sand and taking a bunch of pictures, we were taken to a place in the middle of the desert where we had some entertainment and food. The Falcon show was Ahmazing!! We learned that the falcon played such a crucial part in the traditional culture of the United Arab Emirates. Falconry is a popular sport in the UAE,which is usually practiced in the desert.
My absolute favorite part about the desert Safari was the Sunset camel ride! Watching the sunset over the dubai desert was such a thrilling and peaceful moment. Truly an unforgettable moment!
